MAKING SOCIAL JUSTICE A REALITY FOR ALL
Voces Ciudadanas is a grassroots organization based in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. We work to build leadership, amplify the voices, and make social justice a reality for immigrants.
We use three main strategies in our work:
- We create opportunities to strengthen the leadership of immigrant neighbors in Sunset Park,
- We organize grassroots campaigns to address root causes and increase the power of immigrant communities,
- We create spaces where immigrants can come together and engage in dialogue and amplify their voices.
Mission
Voces Ciudadanas’ mission is to build the collective power of immigrants and other marginalized groups by promoting community leadership and organizing, offering programs based on popular education and creating spaces for community dialogue so that social justice becomes a reality.
